As the necklace (which is entitled "Elegance")  began to take shape I recalled a movie that I had seen starring Jane Seymour and Christopher Reeve  – Somewhere in Time. Just for your information – I love this movie. This movie points out that love knows no time and love is forever timeless.

While creating this necklace I could visualize Jane Seymour wearing the finished piece in this movie. She is very elegant, graceful and the time period of the movie showcases all the beautiful long flowing gowns, hair up in beautiful sweeping styles and speaks of “timeless” beauty and love.

At first I thought I would name the piece “Timeless” because of the beauty and unending elegance of the piece, but after thought felt that “Elegance” more than spoke for the piece itself.

Elegance and love itself is timeless and is never extinguished no matter how much time has elapsed.

Elegance is in itself grace and beauty simplified. Grace and Elegance I believe go hand in hand.
