Granny Smith and Pink Lady — 1950s apple green Bakelite focal rounds, mid-century Japanese opaque coral and chartreuse glass beads, sterling silver leaf clasp and findings — Inspired by goimagine's Apple vs. Pumpkin Maker Challenge

1950s vintage apple green Bakelite 15mm rounds. 
Vintage glass beads: 1950s Japanese opaque coral 10mm rounds; opaque chartreuse/apple green 8mm rounds; speckled red with silver foil 15mm glass rounds. 
Seed beads; frosted coral; chartreuse. 
Sterling silver: detailed leaves toggle clasp, rose ear wires; findings. 
Strung on 49-strand Peridot Color bead stringing wire. 
Necklace length/weight: ~20" (Matinée)/2 oz. Earrings: 0.5 oz. (These have a bit more weight to them than my usual earring designs.)

• My work is offered as necklace/earring sets (demi-parure). If you don't wear earrings, the earring pairs make lovely gifts.
• I work with artisan and other beautifully designed toggles and clasps. Helpful hint: Practice hooking and unhooking the clasp; visualize this while doing so without looking.
• Please take care to avoid knocking or dropping beads against hard surfaces. Many beads I use (glass, ceramic, etc.) are breakable.
