Cherry Quartz Oblong Gemstone Necklace Pendant Gold Wire Wrapped with Matching Jade Earrings

Necklace Description:  The center gemstone pendant for this necklace set is an oblong cherry quartz pendant.  The quarts is clear with some yellow and brown inside.  The yellow and brown actually looks like scenery.  I have wire wrapped the bail out of anti-tarnish gold over copper wire, and have added a couple of twirls and curls just below the bail.  Just above the bail I have wire wrapped segments of beads to start the necklace.  This segment then attaches to a gold plated chain.  The design on the front reminds me of an mountain landscape.  See the measurements below, as the top of the pendant is a bit wider than the bottom of the pendant.  The beads on the gold wire wrapped segment are a round yellow jade gemstone bead with a diamond shaped gold plated bead with a design that has been antiqued.

Earring Description:  The earrings are made using the yellow round jade.  As with the necklace the yellow jade has the diamond shaped gold plated bead on top.  These are wire wrapped onto a gold plate fish hook type ear wire.

Measurements:  The oblong cherry quartz pendant is 2 ½ inches long, 1 3/8 inches wide, and is 6mm thick.  NOTE! This is not a perfect rectangle. When looking at the pendant, the left side appears to be just a bit shorter than the right.  It is actually that the right side comes in just a bit at the bottom of the pendant.  Measuring in millimeters, the top of the pendant is 34.5mm, the bottom is 33.2mm.  I tried to capture this in some of my pics.  The total length of the earrings is 1 ½ inches.  With the gold wire wrapped bail the total length of the pendant is 3 inches.  The wire wrapped bead segment and the gold plate chain measure 27 inches.  The round yellow jade gemstone is 8mm in diameter.  The gold diamond shaped bead is 6mm long and 6mm wide at the points.

Processing:  This item is a finished product.  My processing time takes 1-2 days because I have a day job.  I need the day job to support my yarn and bead habit.  So, sometimes an order may come in while I am at the day job and would not be able to mail the same day.

Packaging:  My packaging for jewelry will include a cotton lined jewelry box.  I do this because it adds more protection for the jewelry while it ships.  It also makes a nice package for giving as a gift.
