Pendant Description: The center gemstone pendant for this necklace set is a brecciated black and turquoise gemstone. I have wire wrapped the bail out of bare copper wire, and have added a couple of twirls and curls around the gemstone pendant bead.
The Chain: I will include a copper chain to go with your pendant. That way it will be ready to wear as soon as you open your package.
Earring Description: The earrings are made using an oval turquoise gemstone bead. I have wire wrapped a swirl at the bottom of the earrings. These are wire wrapped onto a copper fishhook type ear wire.
Copper Tarnishing: Just like pennies, copper tarnished differently. Some pennies tarnish darker, some can turn green, some black. The copper in the chain, the bare copper wire used in wire wrapping the gemstone pendants, and the copper using in the earrings may not all tarnish at the same rate or the same color. I will be sending a bag with an anti-tarnish patch for the choker, and one for the pendant and earrings. This will keep the copper the bare copper color. If you let the items set out, they will tarnish just like a new penny, but cannot tell you at what rate and they may not be the same color.
Your Purchase: Your purchase will include the pendant, the chain, and the earrings.
Measurements: The brecciated turquoise gemstone is 1 5/8 inches long, 1 ¼ inches wide, and is 7mm thick. With the copper wire wrapped bail the total length of the pendant is 3 inches long and 1 3/8 inches wide. The copper chain is 24 inches long. The oval turquoise gemstones are 16mm long and 12mm wide. The earrings are 1 ¾ inches long.
Processing: This item is a finished product. My processing time takes 1-3 days based on USPS holidays and Sundays.
Packaging: My packaging for jewelry will include a cotton lined jewelry box. I do this because it adds more protection for the jewelry while it ships. It also makes a nice package for giving as a gift.
